Special Forces Home Inspections was founded in 2003, with the simple mission of providing our clients with the most professional and complete home inspection in Hilton Head, Bluffton and the surrounding areas. Shortly after forming our company our founder Ken Robinson was recalled again to active military duty, and began his second tour in Afghanistan with the U.S. Army Special Forces. This left the company with a void to fill but fortunately Ron Clifford stepped up and became our second certified inspector. Mr. Clifford, Ken’s father in law, was a natural; having 9 years habitat construction leader experience, retired from Eli-Lily as director of sales, and a Pharmacist degree he is both technically and professionally suited to oversee the operations of a business. Our inspectors have all attended the American Society of Home Inspectors training class; as well as the National Association of Mold Professional mold inspector and abatement certification training. We are members of NACHI, and NAMP trade organizations. It is a requirement for all our inspectors to not only meet the continuing education of these trade organizations; but we also require our inspectors to obtain one additional inspection certification every year.
